Healing from the inside.

Michelle is a doubly qualified therapist, certified in both holistic psychotherapy and art therapy.

Her breadth of experience and playful creativity gives her work a unique and profound wisdom.

In Michelle’s own words:

"I love holding space with my clients and delving deeply into, and find clarity around, old wounds and patterns. I really love honouring these old places and stories in us, and instead of using the term of ‘letting go of what no longer serves us’ I like to offer gratitude, patience and compassion to these places. On this pathway, together, we find expansion and joy in our own self and life. This is healing from the inside."

"I'd love to work with you."

Hannah Sylva

Mullumbimby

Bundjualung\Arakwal Country

Sessions available in person or via zoom

hannahsylva.zen@gmail.com

Hannah’s approach to psychotherapy is based on deep compassion and care for all her clients.

In her own words:

As a holistic psychotherapist, I believe that true healing occurs when we address not only the symptoms but also the underlying root causes of our challenges.

During our sessions, we will work together to explore the different aspects of your life, including your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and spiritual beliefs. By gaining a holistic understanding of your experiences, we can uncover patterns, traumas, and unresolved issues that may be impacting your well-being.

My belief is that we all have an innate capacity for healing and growth. By creating a safe and supportive environment, I will guide you on a journey of self-exploration, self-acceptance, and self-empowerment. Together, we will cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself, develop coping strategies, and identify new perspectives and tools for navigating life's challenges.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I incorporate various holistic modalities into our sessions to support your healing process. These may include mindfulness techniques, breathwork, body awareness exercises, visualization, energy work, and somatic approaches. By integrating these practices, we can access the wisdom of your body and tap into your inner resources for healing and transformation.

Psychotherapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I understand that each person is unique and requires an individualized treatment plan. That's why I collaborate closely with you, honoring your needs, preferences, and goals throughout our work together. My intention is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner landscape, gain insights, and make lasting positive changes.

If you're ready to embark on a holistic journey towards healing, growth, and self-discovery, I invite you to reach out and schedule a session with me. Together, we will create a therapeutic alliance that supports your overall well-being and empowers you to live a more authentic and fulfilling life. I am honored to be a part of your healing journey.

What others are saying about Hannah

Joshua is a Canberra and Sydney-based holistic breathwork practitioner and psychotherapist, offering in-person and online psychotherapy, couples therapy, and breathwork. Joshua provides a variety of holistic therapeutic workshops and private sessions, encompassing men's groups, nature-connection processes, retreats, workplace wellbeing programs and gatherings tailored for the LGBTIQ+ community. He has supported clients’ mental, emotional and spiritual journeys since 2016. Having spent extensive time abroad, Joshua has learnt from many therapeutic, breathwork and spiritual traditions worldwide.

Joshua supports individuals to access their inner power and wisdom, freeing themselves from self-limiting beliefs, and fostering personal growth. His trauma-informed practice is guided by clients’ processes, providing assistance in addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, addictions, anger and shame. His primary focus is to empower individuals in recognising and utilising the transformative potential of their mind, body, breath and spirit as therapeutic tools for personal growth and transformation

What others are saying about Joshua

  • Before Josh, I had experienced 3 or 4 different counselling/therapy sessions and always came away feeling pretty disappointed and misunderstood. I’d kind of stopped searching for the right person to talk to for a while and then luckily the chance to have sessions with Josh came up. Josh made me feel at ease, and most importantly for me, he made me feel understood. He always showed great kindness in the way he spoke and managed to help guide me to solutions and ways of dealing with the problems I was facing in a subtle and caring way.

    Paul, Psychotherapy client

  • As someone who has always struggled to get out of my head, discovering the practice of breathwork has been life changing. It has opened my eyes to a deeper consciousness. I feel I can attribute much of this to Joshua’s skilful guidance and holding of space in his men’s group breathwork sessions. More recently, being able to integrate this holistically with his one-on-one psychotherapy sessions has really helped me to better align my thoughts with my feelings. Together this support lets me access and express a healthier side of my masculinity which I feel has been largely suppressed for half a lifetime.
